Trying coffee cup but the tabs are all over the map. I get eight, sixteen or so, then the end of the line. I just want tabs changed to four spaces, period, which is common in most programming editors. This isn't Word. I don't need fancy tabs. Just four spaces when I hit Tab, please.

Still not what I want.The first tab is 1 stop, no matter what I do, then I get 4 at a time.. I just want a plain four spaces for a tab. The 1 stop offsets things. This isn't Word. I can't even see the sense in such complicated tabs when programming editors mostly just do four at a time - which is all you need so the source code is readable.

Some programmer went nuts on the tabs. Getting snafued so early on something so simple as setting tabs, is almost a dealbreaker for buying this.

That's why there's a trial version. Every program made always has something that doesn't work for a user as they were use to or wanted. I wish there was trial versions for other things in life.LOL I'm not much for tabs so it's never bothered me. I think a lot of users are now focused on content and letting other apps do the hand coding of the structure. I love the HTMl editor even with a few of it's quirks its always there for me.
Either way thanks for posting your concerns about the HTML editor. Maybe CC will take note and make some changes in a future update.

Maybe try a fresh download. When I specify 4 spaces, that's what I get, no single space first.
