I have no experience with CoffeeCup products except 'Gif Animator' from a long time ago

I'm thinking of getting a few CoffeCup products, including Form Builder, and I've downloaded trials.

I have an existing website which is very old and tired and which I want to update from scratch. It has a 'Contact Me' form which leaves my contact email visible to spammers, and so I get a lot of spam.

If I use Form Builder to make a 'contact me' form, and choose to have it send me results by email, can spammers see the email address, or do I have to do something else?

No they can't see your email address and you can put a captcha security box in the form to help also.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

Another way to combat spammers being able to see your email address on Contact Us pages, is to create an image with the info on it rather than putting the info on as copiable text. This way it isn't actually an email address that is clickable, but something they will just need to type in themselves in their email programs or webmail sites. This is the same for phone numbers, addresses etc. Keeps the search engines from reading that info and posting it all over the internet and in return stops a lot of spammers.

The form builder is a great way to also combat that issue, just throwing another option out there that works pretty well too. :)

Hiya again,

I deleted the other thread which would be ok there, either place is ok since you are a registered user rather than a trial only user. Let me know if you want it moved back and we'll take care of that too :)

You could use the link below to encrypt your email address that is on your page.

You can also use java script if you have some knowledge of it.
