After being replied with my concerns, I am definitely going to use CC for my website development. Just wandering now about web hosting with s-drive. Should I use s-drive for my hosting because I registered my domain name via godaddy a year ago. And I am not sure about the bandwidth I am going to have with s-drive as it is never said. Will it be enough for a online shop site? Also what happens when my domain is nearly expire, do I have to go back to godaddy to renew or do I renew at s-drive?

I believe from the things i have heard in forum before now that GoDaddy are a pain with transfers, and ending your account and transfering domains.

Two golden rule to follow

(1) buy your domains independently of hosting, (ie) if you buy your domain through CC and host with CC they are 2 separate transactions, but i am guessing like plenty of others ME INCLUDED you fell foul of the FREE domain with your GoDaddy hosting and it will probably bite you on the bum.

(2) cheap hosting for a shop is useless, you get what you pay for and if your trying to make a living from a shop go for the best hosting you can afford from the Outset.

CC have promised to give you ample bandwidth and space which grows with your site, and lets face it, read the forums here, you will hardly find a bad word said about CC

Personally if i were you, i would buy hosting with CC, and A new domain extension (or three) so you have the .com, .net , .us , or your country (ie) i have .co.uk

Ask GoDaddy if you can transfer your present one out, and if not go to domainmonster.com open an account, and put in a back order for it, when it drops they will grab it for you, though theres the chance Godaddy will renew it themselves and hold onto it just to spite you. but i have heard of that before also

My wedding car site in signature is hosted with CC Sdrive, no complaints at all

I should have added, if your NEW to websites, and shopping carts, hosting with CC will save you a fortune in time, learning, and tearing your hair out
