Hi Scott,

Like others in this post I have been trying Shopping Creator Pro trial version. Try as I might in many different configurations, I have not been able to import a csv file other than the example you have posted on the software page. I have used Notepad saved as csv, Excel saved as csv, Wordpad saved as csv, all without success.
Do you require to have the full version of Pro before importing.

I have attached a typical file I have created.

The column headers are not correct. Just open that text file in a browser and you can see that every thing is off. You need to follow all of the steps here at http://www.coffeecup.com/help/articles/ … eator-pro/

The trial version is also fully functional, so you will be able to use this feature to the fullest extent.

I took a look at your file here in Excel, Numbers and Google Docs and I see the problem. You have everything in one cell. Each field delimiter should be in its own column. So SKU needs to be in column A, title column B and so on. I tried to clean this file up, but it is just too far out of whack for cleaning up.

Hi Scott,

The text file was generated from this excel csv spreadsheet. (Please remove the .txt extension, it was necessary to upload) I still cannot import this csv file.
any suggestions would be welcome.

Unfortunately this file is still messed up as well. I deleted everything but the first product to see if I can get a glimpse to the issue and it appears you are not using the proper values for some of the delimiters.

Error reported by SCC:
Reason: Value "" must be 0, 1, yes, no, true, false, f, t, y, n.

You need to go through each delimiter and make sure that they conform to the specifications here at http://www.coffeecup.com/help/articles/ … eator-pro/

Just compare your file with the one here at http://www.coffeecup.com/files/miscella … xample.csv and you can see examples of what each delimiter should look like.

Hi Scott,

Is this correct?

I have not been able to try this as the trial period has expired.

It is an excel file - delete txt extension to open.

This file seems to be even more damaged. Looking at it in Excel, it doesn't seem to be formatted correctly either. Also, looking at the file in Notepad, I think you have tab formatted the fields instead of using a coma or semicolon.
