Much appreciated but I should repeat what I said in my first post, "This is a problem when I bring the html file into Constant Contact for use in that email blast system. The hosted link above looks great on my iphones. So, working familiarity with CC is needed for this troubleshoot!

I'll try to capture the source code from a CC send and post that too.

Have you tried using the Test Email within RED to see if that works? Constant Contact could be stripping out style which could be the reason you are having these problems. Run the test through RED and see if it works. If it does, then you know the issue is with Constant Contact.

Constant Contact must be altering the code. I would ask their tech support.:)

You both must be correct. I just now set up in order to test directly from RED and the behavior is fine on the iphones. 1 more question for now - is the html code RED exports just html or does it comply with xhtml rules?

It is all HTML. I know if you use MailChimp (over Constant Contact) you should not have any problems there.

Okay, I'm not crazy, yet.

Constant Contact was better than I expected. I explained the issue, it was kicked 'upstairs' for about 10 minutes before I was asked to logout and then log back in. I provided them with the email name of my best test so they could view and test themselves. End result: they needed to make a change on their end affecting the CC footer which is added automatically. No edit to the RED html code. That was it! I asked for an explanation but only got, "It was on our end, no need for you to do anything."

Thank you for all your collective advise and troubleshooting time. And here I was sure I wasn't handling something correctly.

Regards,

Bob
