Menu Builder Question

Howdo folks.

Discovered Menu Builder today and just giving the demo a try.

I like the 'canvas' crayon theme, however would like all the buttons 1 colour (and add a few more in.)

There doesn't seem to be many options at all to modify anything and I can only add plain buttons. Is this just because of restrictions with the demo?

Thanks

I thought the trial version was fully functional. The menu builder has so many options it's easy to flock shoot it and miss the obvious.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

Thanks Eric.

I couldn't see much in the way of button styling, but will give it another look.

I thought it might be a case of editing the HTML/CSS to make them all red but all that stuff gives me a headache!

Would be nice to use it as I like the buttons and mobile menu.

What styling is missing that you want to apply?

I don't have that theme, so can't see what options are available.
I'll ask a dumb question instead... When you try to make changes, have you tried selecting each individual button rather than all menu buttons?

Hi chaps,
Just had another look at the software. I'm not sure I even have the same software as it's literally so simplistic with no options to really change anything at all,

There's an Elements tab for applying links to each button
Theres a Themes tab with only 3 options of styles/themes and a link.
Theres a Design tab for margins /padding and not much else
Then, there's 'Export'. That's it.

So I downloaded the one that I liked (gloss5) and still no options, other than to make blank white buttons. I've tried clicking/right clicking the menu buttons and just about everything to no avail.. seems there's no way of customising hardly anything? that's why I thought it must just be limitations of the PC demo.

I think you are missing the main set of options. If you click the Design tab, you will see a menu dropdown on the top right portion of the program. From there you can select the different parts of the menu you wish to edit. You will find there are many different settings to adjust. :)

Wahey! Cheers Adam- that will do it. :)

I had tried clicking that before but hadn't noticed the image and colour selector. Thanks.

Another quick question if that's ok. When the menu is in 'mobile mode' with a 320 breakpoint, is there a way to replace the text 'Menu' with a small png logo via the software or would that entail some HTML skullduggery?

Are you really trying there? :)

Sort of, yeah. I can change the button colours now thanks to Eric but still generally making a pig's ear of things.

The responsive aspect doesn't seem right, I've set breakpoints at 320, 768 and 970.

The menu just keeps showing as 2 layers when too big for the screen, rather than switching to the mobile menu ('for small screens' is selected in design-> layout) and the hamburger icon also seems to have done a runner.

I will persevere!

Did you select the mobile layout at your break point on the Layout tab?
