I'm using Web Form Builder Lite for Windows, and have problem integrating it with Mailchimp, specifically when matching fields. I've attached links to screenshots of the popup error message beside my field properties.
For email, Web Form Builder is telling me that I don't have an email field, and that it is not set as required. As seen on the first screenshot, both are untrue.

For the First name and Last name fields, I've set the max length to 20 characters (just to try it), but the errors tells me that I've exceeded the max length of 25.

Screenshot 3: http://www.womeninleadership.ca/mailchi … shoot3.jpg
I've asked Mailchimp support about max field length, and I was told all fields have a max length of 255 characters.
I've clicked "Refresh" under the mail list setting. I've set every field to "required" on my form.
Can anyone tell me what is going on? The error messages don't make sense to me. How can I make it work?

What you need to do is in Mail Chimp, go into the Design Forms area and then to "Revert to Old Forms". Then for each item, go to Field Settings and change Field Size to Large. This gives you up to 40 characters. Then go back to the software, refresh and then make the corresponding changes in the software.
If all that is too much, version 2.1 that will be released shortly will work with their new Fancy Forms and this will no longer be an issue.

I see. Thanks for the info!

New problem: Info from one of my questions don't integrate with Mailchimp.
Test page: http://www.womeninleadership.ca/mailchi … test2.html
The form is now integrated with Mailchimp. The Email, First Name, Last Name fields work fine.
The last question is checkboxes with 3 options. When I submit through the form, the initial confirmation message shows the options I've selected, but on Mailchimp, the information is missing.
Any thoughts on this?

Are the checkboxes setup in MailChimp properly? Anytime something is missing, that typically means the software and MC are not in sync.

For the checkboxes, I used the button: Create Elements for All Unmatched Fields, which I assumed would create a duplicate of what I have in Mailchimp.
I'm not sure what you mean by set up the checkboxes properly in Mailchimp, other than that the headings and the options look exactly the same, from the letter case to the order of the options. On Mailchimp, there's only the field label and options to modify, and the entries are the same on both forms.

You need to use groups in MailChimp for checkboxes. You have to then manually enter all that information in there as well (exactly).

If the info is not logged, that means something isn't configured correctly. When it is all configured properly, it will sync.
Keep trying!

hello... I was just referred to this post by the nice people at mailchimp.
Doing what you suggested fixed the email length, but not the firstname, lastname and telephone (all text fields). I went through, did it all again to make sure. Refreshed, and still nada.
Any advice?
