Have just taken the scary step of moving my complete business over to Apple Mac and having started the new design on my old PC am concerned about a number of questions:

1. While it is great that I can download the software again onto the new Apple, is the software Apple compatible?

2. Would I be better off finishing on the PC? Obviously I want to get up and running on the Mac asap but if this would be better, am prepared to stay on the PC for a while longer....

Any advice, ideas would be much appreciated.

Hiya Neil,

Your question all depends on which program(s) you are using. Right now CC has a Mac version of the HTML Editor called Web Editor, Form Builder and Web Image Studio. You can get to those versions (yes they are separate purchases from the Windows versions), by going to the menu at the top and mouse over the Software button. You'll see a section for OS X Software and the programs listed below it. Hopefully the one(s) you use will be there and I'm sure they will be adding more as time goes by :)

While you are waiting for the mac HTML Editor, if that is what you are using to build your site, you could use Bootcamp which comes with the mac and install Windows. The only problem with using Bootcamp is that you have to boot your mac into it each time you want to use Windows, and when you are done you have to boot back into Apple OS.

A better alternative is to get hold of either Paralells or VmWare, you install Windows, or any other os into a virtual drive and then you can run your Windows programmes from your Mac OS desktop.

Keep doing a search for Mac Bundle Offers every now again ones of these bundles may include either Paralells or VmWare plus about 7 or 8 other programme titles, the bundles usually cost around $49 ( around £30 if you live in the UK), that is on average about a tenth of what all the titles in each bundle would cost if you bought them yourself.
