Hello,
I have been away from anything to do with websites for a long time.
A friend asked if I can help him with his site that is hosted on BlueHost
and is designed under WordPress, Themes and Plugins.
Three others have had their hands in this website already, it seems inconsistent to me.
There is a theme called Ultimo and about 14 Plugins are active.

I have no experience with WordPress, themes and or plugins.
Also his version of Wordpress and many plugins are out of date by a bunch
of versions as well as the php version associated with the site under his
hosting account. This is seen under his WordPress Dashboard.
The website is very graphic intensive, lots of pictures to mess with.

I can grab all the photos off his current site. I already FTP'd the whole site
to my computer and exported the MySql data base as a back up. I don't
want to break the current site so will not change or update anything until
I know what the heck I am doing.

Would it be best to rebuild the entire website from scratch?
Can Site Designer recreate basically what this site currently does and looks like?
I don't know if I can even run a site on BlueHost if not designed under WordPress itself.
I do own the CC HTML Editor not the Site Designer software.

I would greatly appreciate any thoughts and suggestions you can share with me.
I know this is a lot to ask and for me to try and take on.
Here is the website: http://cpthorntonguitars.com/
Thank you, Lou D.

That site can be built whichever way you prefer, HTML Editor or Site Designer. I'm using both of those, and my experience is, that with Site designer you will at first have a learning curve, but once you have got past it, you build a site faster than with the Editor.

We are a nice bunch of Coffeecup software users here in the forum, and whenever you need some help or advice, just holler! :)

As to Blue-Host; I have no experience with myself, but I know there are other people here in the forum using it. You are not limited to WordPress or to any other particular site-building system

This site was made before we were able to create components through the app:
Component sharing for RFF, RBB, RSD and SD: https://eikweb.com/sharing/
My work in progress right now:
Components for the same as above + HTML Editor: https://mock-up.coffeecup.com
