I've been a FP user for many years and have become quite proficient at it for my purposes. But I want to new get into small business site development in a big way and have seen the writing on the wall...FP is becoming obsolete.

With all my experience with FP, I have NO HMTL coding knowledge. TYhat's why I bought FP in the first place. Is there anything on the market that is comprobable to FP and wysiwyg. If not, does anyone have any suggestions about current software and the easiest way to make the transition in the shortest time?

Looking for former FP users that were once in my position.

Thanks in advance!

I too used FP for years (self taught) and managed to make a web page that didn't look too bad. However I ALWAYS held my breath after hitting the Publish button to see how my hours of work would really look when on the web! Many, many times the site would look horrible (text out of line, pictures in the wrong spot, etc) and it would take hours to find out what I did wrong.

Just a couple weeks ago I download a trial copy of http://www.coffeecup.com/designer/

It didn't take too long to ge the feel of it. The big thrill was to publish to the web and have the web page look just like it did on my computer! That was very hard to do with FP!

I highly recommend Visual Site Designer. For $ 49.00 it is well worth the price! Plus the tech support has been very good. And that was before I bought the program.
