HTML Editor, My web page will not...
I decided to switch to coffee cup html because Front Page is no longer supported by Windows. When I open my home page (index.html) in a computer window I see the most recent page in the preview pane. But when I open it up in Coffee Cup HTML Editor I see an old page from 2012 (maybe cached), I attached the file so you could try it. I thought new software would fix this problem but it did not. Any suggestions? I haven't been able to update my web site since May 2013. Help!

Are you sure you grabbed the correct file off the server?

I can't hear what I'm looking at.

I downloaded the entire web site to my hard drive and then opened "index.htm" it looks like the new page in a preview pane, but as soon as it is opened in the editor it changes to an old page. My websites address is www.strickland-racing.com.
I'm confused.
Isn't it already open in the editor if your previewing it?

No like you are looking for a file, the file preview page. Open folders, go to the desired file, then click details with preview page, it shows ok in there. But if I open that same file in HTML editor it reverts to an older 2012 index page.
Sounds to me like your Windows temp files are messed up. When's the last time you cleared your temporary files on your computer? Sometimes you need to hit F5 in a folder to get it to refresh the thumbnails too as it will sometimes cache old ones. Or in this case incorrect ones the way it sounds. If the file you open is the old file, then it's the old file and not new ones. As suggested above, be sure you're in the correct folder looking for those files as it doesn't sound like the case here.

I bet the file browsing panel is looking at a different user folder in windows. I had this for a while after putting in a new hard drive. Do a search on your pc for that file and I bet it shows up in two locations.
