Front Page - Post ID 205139
I have a website made from Front Page. Can I convert(?) this or intergrate it with visual?
Convert by redoing it yes. Integrate, all depends on at what level and how much. Iframes would be your best friend. The best thing to do is to plan on a total rebuild. You could do this over a period of time.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

I'm also interested in moving from FrontPage. If I can't move the site entirely can I import it by components - all css, all .js, all html pages? I don't use FP extensions but do use a couple of jQuery tools - fancybox, tabify etc.
You can't "import" to Visual Site Designer at all. What you can do is utilize the scripts and code from your current site by using the tools within Visual Site Designer to recreate them, and do them manually also which isn't always too difficult either. If you're able to use code I would suggest using the HTML Editor instead, but if you're not, then Visual Site Designer should do the trick for you.
There's a lot of help for VSD (Visual Site Designer) here on the forums, so you shouldn't have too much difficulty learning the ropes of how it works and if you have questions there's many here to answer.
Other than that, take it for a trial spin and see how it all works. Let us know if you need assistance with it

But if you feel like messing with code, you'd be able to import the lot into the HTML Editor without having to start over again.
Come to think about it, FP is quite old, isn't it? Maybe the site is in need of a radical approach after all...

I agree Inger, I would redo it from scratch too if I were them as FP is old and the code will have a lot of deprecated tags in it no doubt. How ever you decide to do it, just take the item scripts with you and do the rest over so you have fresher more up to date code to work with.
Me third. Send FrontPage to the back of the line.
