Hey Tyler,

I uploaded a video to show you how to do this. It's got no sound, sorry, but just follow along and pause when you need to. Let me know if something still isn't clear.

Be sure to type in your own info in the 'settings' and not what I entered. The text for sending the check of course can be anything you want.

Thanks Gunsmoke.

Two questions:

1. In the number element, you didn't use the payment property. How will PayPal know to charge the number entered or, rather, how will PayPal be initiated at all?

2. When the 'Send Check' radio is selected, the form has no payment values so it kicks back the standard summary of info received. However, in my form there are payment values associated with many elements and this process will still automatically kick them to the Order Confirmation Page without sending either of us the info summary. Am I wrong here?

What I'm looking for is this:

When the 'Send Check' radio is selected, pressing the submit button will calculate the payment values from all elements and include the total in the "Your form was successfully submitted. We received the information shown above" response. This option will not send the client to the "Almost done! Your order will not be processed until you click the payment button below" page, regardless of the fact that payment properties were used.

Please look at my form to see what I'm talking about:

This is just how I see this happening, but I'm open to other processes.

The only other way I see this working at the moment is what I not-so-clearly tried to explain in my original post. :P

If, when payment properties are used, there's no way to bypass being taken to the "Almost done! Your order will not be processed until you click the payment button below" page, then I would need to insert a button on this page which would initiate the auto-response/notification emails. Currently, these emails are sent only after the client clicks the 'Checkout with PayPal' button.

1. I goofed! :P I'll fix the video. You do have to put something in there to pass the amount to paypal. Usually 'Price Input'

2. Web Form Builder will not do calculations at this time. The user will have to put in the total.

Or you will have to use jquery or some other script and I'm not much of a coder. Sorry.

Your form looks nice by the way! :D

You know, there might be another way. I think you could set this all up in the SCCP. You would list a basic item, such as a reading, then under 'more options' select 'optional fields' and list all your selectable options. At the end the user could check out with paypal, or under item 'details' you can insert code for a 'pay by check' button. You would still need to do some coding. I would have to look into this more, and it could be a few days.

Someone else might jump in here and be able to help out. Hope so :D

Actually, just found out you can only have 5 options so that's probably not good with SCCP. Sorry.

Thanks for the legwork, and the compliment.

I don't mind a bit of coding. I'm not an expert, but I have some background and I can usually find my way around. (JS still scares me a bit, but I can face that fear if need be. ;) )

Plenty of help here. Eric I think is a master of jquery, and there are several really good coders. Chime back in if you need help with it. I'm sure one or more will be around before long.
