I have gotten allot done, but im at a point which isnt making sense? Something kinda simple.

Ok...

I got my index page up! I set all my links for it (www.mysite.com/poster.html) but for all the things that needed to be linked, I made names for them. with a html at the end like the example above...

Now I am at the point to start making those pages. Lets use the page called "Poster"

- I started a new page made the Page ID: Poster

- My FTP Settings, my hosting site - godaddy had me set the Remote Folder as "/" when I put up the Index Page.

Ok I made the poster page, all in VSD I picked a black background & I placed an image of the poster... Then I made that poster a link to (www.mypage.com/index) because I wanted people to click on that poster as the way to get back to the main page - so when people are on the index page, they click on poster icon, then a page opens they see the poster and then the actual photo of the poster is a link and it goes back to the index page.....

But here is my problem. When I published that "Poster" Page it became my main page as soon as you typed in my ".com" my index page isnt there anymore ONLY the poster pager.

- Was I supposed to name the poster page "poster" or "poster.html" when I saved it??

- Is this because I made the poster picture a link to go back to the index, is that why its thinking its now my index page??

- Is there anymore setting I need to change so it knows its a page for my site???

hmmm....

Basically how do I make pages. Whats the settings, what am I doing wrong? The Index page is set and I have all the exact names I have for each one, now I want to make those pages. Whats the settings when I make each page?

Can we have a link to the site?

Also, when you name your pages – you don't need to put .html after the names, let VSD take care of it. And make sure you don't have the homepage box checked (only for the index page).

So you would have something like this:
Page Title : My Site - Contact Us
Page ID: contact
