I have no idea why my first post to this community was removed. Can someone tell me for what reason? I didn't say anything rude nor did I have a negative tone or anything.

Why does the Free HTML Editor install itself fully into the user/appdata folder and not to the Program Files x86 folder or Program Files folder like programs normally do? What was so bad or taboo about asking that?

As to your question, we have found that as Windows adds more and more security restrictions, writing to the Program Files folder causes problems. Installing to the APPDATA folder addresses that.
