I received a copy of web video player from Suzanne.
It loaded fine and came up fine but when I tried to import an mpg4 video...

What did you want that video player for? I mean, what did you say to Suzanne that made her give it to you?
The Web Video Player is flash based, and for the last about 5-6 years flash doesn't work on the web any more, unless the viewers have all sorts of extra stuff installed. As a rule now, mobile devices can't display flash content, so it is pretty useless anyway.

If you want your video to be displayed on a website, there are better ways of doing it with Site Designer (SD for short.) If you need help with that, make a post in the SD discussion group.
