Hey Paintbrush, not sure what you did there, but that's the code you get if you view the .swf file. If I right-click the page and view source, I get the page source.

Yep, that was "view Source" (Firefox – same in Chrome).
The W3C Validator doesn't see the page, either, only the .swf:
"I/O Error: Unknown mime type : application/x-shockwave-flash"
Sorry! This document cannot be checked.
Error
Sorry, I am unable to validate this document because its content type is application/x-shockwave-flash, which is not currently supported by this service.
The Content-Type header is sent by your web server (or web browser if you use the file upload interface) and depends on its configuration. Commonly, web servers will have a mapping of filename extensions (such as ".html") to MIME Content-Type values (such as text/html).

Is there a DOCTYPE on that page?

If you mean the site Ginny has made, yes, it's a VSD site with 4.01 transitional. So in other words, no html5 stuff will work.

Ginny, I hope this doesn't ruin your day, but the programme you have used to create the site, VSD, puts a limit to a lot of new things in web design. You will not be able to make your site responsive (adapt to smaller screen sizes like phones), and you can't use html5 elements. The programme VSD is on its way out, and instead CoffeeCup has created RSD (Responsive site Designer). It would be worth while to play with a trial version of RSD, and if you need help, there will always be someone here ready to hold your hand. The audio code Eric gave you above here, will work fine in html5.

HI, Inger.

Thank you for this. I have downloaded the trial version of Responsive Site Designer. I am an amateur,
just trying to put our Church Mission Site on the web. I didn't have too many problems with VSD, but
I find Responsive Site Designer difficult to use- not user friendly. Is there any way to download my website
from the Internet onto RSD ? Or to open a VSD file in RSD , without having to re-create the whole thing?
Thanks so much. I'm 76 years old, and struggling.

RSD has a learning curve, I agree, but once you get the hang of it, you will probably find it easy enough. Unfortunately VSD-made sites can not be opened in RSD, you need to start over again. A while ago I heard about some assistance programme that CC was to create, since there are such a lot of VSD users who want to have responsive sites. I don't know how far they have got with that, but I'll try to find out.

I have just heard that CC actually has such a help service up and running. Open a support ticked (click on your name top right) and ask them about it.

Hi Laetittia,

Juke box has been discontinued. You can no longer buy it. Since Juke Box was flash based it is no longer supported by most mobile devices anyway. There are plenty of alternatives out there just google it.

Hi William,
You will want to google another alternative for your music library as the web jukebox has been discontinued and it was flashed based anyways.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.
