A fluid or liquid site in Responsive...
Would it be possible to have everything in only one frame and the page fit to all size screens without the break points. Or a grid within a single frame. All the objects (text, nav. bar, menus, images, etc.) would decrease or increase in size proportionally as the screen size changed. In IE you could click on the Restore Down/Maximize button, grab a corner and push-pull the window in-out and everything would scale down or up. The scaling would bottom out around 2 or 3 inches pending the size of the screen.

Yes, as long as the site looks the way you want. You use break points only when the site goes out of whack from a screen size change.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

Thanks for your quick reply Eric, this forum is one of the best for sure. I see on the CC home page the frame with the RLM screen shot does as I asked. While the header and frames below stack up or just become icons at break points as the IE window is reduced. So I'm "Claritin Clear" on this, the whole page could be made as the RLM screen image and react the same to browser window sizing?
Thanks again!

The text won't re-size itself, if you don't use media queries, you'll need a script to adjust the font size.
Also, although images will adjust, you might want to use a min-width to keep some from getting to small, or a media query to replace, remove or crop an image.
Why wouldn't you want to use break points?

Lazy? Lack of resources, time and energy. Hoping it could be done automatically.
(That's possible but only with a funky template set in stone.)
Ok, with a little more research I found having a completely fluid site with a code generating program like VSD/RSD or any other is not going to happen. I suppose I could give the BPs a try.
I was thinking about having an image or picture that would fit to the whole screen to view. Also a sign or possible text type message made into an image as you noted.
Waiting as many are for the release and purchase of RSD.

If the whole page is an image, it would work, but the text would probably become too small to read.
If you want to be lazy
, why don't you try just one breakpoint to re-size your text (make it smaller) and see how it goes?
Be careful... once you see the kind of control breakpoints allow, you might become addicted
