I only do various 'home brew' web sites for my church and for some friends. I've been using an ancient version of Dreamweaver for some years now and have got used to its foibles, in particular the ease with which multiple projects are handled, with the project files for all the web sites in the My Documents folder. I found CC yesterday and am currently trying out the free version.
I found it odd, to my way of thinking, that in CC the project files are stored in the root folder of the individual web sites. I can see advantages in respect of maintaining the self-contained nature of the web site files, but I can also see the Dreamweaver way of working has benefits.
Then I found a thread on The HTML Editor forum about the location for .cpf files. As described in this thread I've moved the .cpf files to CC's folder My Website (though I might change it to My Documents later).
It struck me that having an option in Tools/Preferences to specify a folder to contain all the .cpf files, or let it default to the current way of working, may be helpful way of accommodating both views.

I just move it where I want it.
