Yes! I just scanned a WordPress site I have up and it works like a champ.

The reports might highlight a lot of server requests and java scripts but don't forget that Wordpress sites are database driven so that's quite normal in this instance. Access times are affected by the quality of you hosting server and your template, which can be a lean, mean fighting machine or a bloated, graphic laden monster.
