Website Insight looks at one domain, would it be possible to include a facility to do a side by side comparison with one or two competitor websites without having to get an "insight" into each one separately?

Suggestion: Open up multiple browsers and put them side by side on a large monitor screen, two or three to view side by side simultaneously.

Multiple copies of the software can be opened at a time to allow side by side comparison.

The software is setup for one page to be displayed at a time right now, but enhancements are to follow in later updates.

Just got my copy, Thanks.
I like the key word analysis, its good to be able to see what words are being used and where they are being used in the page. It would be good to be able to see if any of my key words are ranking on Google and in what position.

Back linking seems to be important, it would be handy to be able to analyse where a site is getting their back links from as well as if there is a way of determining the value of the back links.

Thanks for the hard work, well done.

Glad you like it!

Some of those features the search engines do not make the data publicly available any more with any sort of query. Even if you went directly to any search engine and tried searching for your site, the results would be different each time depending on your location, servers you hit, time of day etc. Using the Google Webmaster Tools we have found that the data is still not 100% accurate either. What we have found is you get good "estimate" but never an exact count.

We have lots of things in the pipeline, so keep keep a watch on the announcements. ;)

Website Insight is an excellent tool, I've been playing with the trial today. But as someone that develops sites from scratch locally before uploading it would be really nice if it could also test sites running locally (http://localhost).

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
