May I ask how the Website Insight tool manages with sites which require access before visiting?

For example on my site a member needs to access by going to the Members main page and logging in. From there on in the user has access because of a Session Token allows him to.

So, what I am saying is that will this tool be able to 'log in' to get to the member only parts of the site?

It's not going to scan those pages. Same as Google.

If it's just passworded via something like .htaccess you could probably open the site to the public temporarily for like 2 minutes at a time to scan it. Or upload it to a directory no one will suspect for a temporary amount of time to run the scans. That's about the best you are going to get from any SEO type software as even Google can't get to those types of files with their Website Tools. You can just open the site, scan it, reprotect it and do your changes etc. till you're done. At least it does give you that ability to then use the program to benefit the site. That's about all you can do for it.

The whole purpose of the program is to analyze your page and offer suggestions for better SEO. If your page is locked down, SEO really does not matter too much here because you will never get indexed on anything behind the password.
