CSS Validation - Post ID 245928

style.css generated by MB did not pass validation. When I checked the issues, it was because there were elements in the stylesheet that did not have values. For example:

.mb_cdl #mb_cdl-menuBuilder #mb_cdl-nav ul li.menu_3:hover > a span.icon_menu_handle i:before{
content:;
}

Does this matter? If so, what is the best way to handle it?

Did you know that Web Form Builder can be used for both simple and complicated forms and that it's not limited to the default fonts and buttons? Take a look at a form we developed for WindowTinting.com.

That is because it is compressed. Compressed CSS files will never validate.

Hi,

The last two times I've tried to use Web Insight, it finishes validating the CSS and then just stops. Previously it worked just fine. I'm running it on Win 7. Any suggestions?

Thank you.

Can you share your website URL so I can look into that for you?

Thanks. I did not have any problems here. Can you try this:

1. Right-click the Website Insight shortcut icon, and click Properties.
2. Click the Compatibility tab.
3. Here, put a check mark by Run This Program as an Administrator.
4. Next, put a check mark next to Run This Program in Compatibility Mode For: and ensure Windows XP Pro Service Pack 3 is selected.
5. Click OK.

Now try and scan your site again.
