Any ideas on what the problem is?

Long story short (I hope) I stopped at one of my customers house & they said they were having trouble with my website.
They have a laptop PC running Win7 and explorer.
My website is made with Visual Site Designer, SCCP & SCDP.
On the Home page made with VSD, I created the text in multiple colors. On her computer it was all black & the Company name at the top was gone.
When I went to the catalog page & subsequent pages listed there (created with SCDP), the picture at the top is gone, the green bar (were the links are) is gone, all the "sold out" messages are gone, all the "add to cart" buttons are gone. On the shopping cart pages these all seem to be jpgs.

These pages all look fine on every computer in my house, running vista home premium, explorer & firefox.

Thanks for any help.

Everything here looks good in all versions of IE, Chrome, Firefox and Safari. Do you know what version of IE they had and if they were using any custom DPI or large font settings?

She said the computer was about 2 years old, & isn't the kind of person to have any custom settings.

You would still be amazed that what people think they are not doing are. The more specifics we have on those computer setups would help narrow down the issue. Although I would say you probably don't need to worry about it too much as it works great here. I will bet it is just some computer setting on that system that is causing the problem.

I think there's some underling problem as I've had other issues showing up at my end. When this lady finally placed her order it didn't subtract from the inventory on the website. I've been having this problem off and on.

That would be something completely different and probably more of a setting issue in the software. We would need a lot more information to go on to offer suggestions on that. I would also suggest opening a support ticket for that and give us as much information as possible to help track that down for ya.

Did you suggest the customer clear her cache? Sound like she is loading an old page maybe?

Have her download CCleaner and run it. This could solve her issue.

Maybe, but if it were an old page it wouldn't have all the products and pictures that it has now, & it was showing them.

No it could still have the updated products. But cache can keep some things and not others. Have them clear the cache first always. It is like the number one thing to try first. :P Then move on to bigger and badder problems.

I have had a look and it seem ok to me. I agree Scott, it is probably a computer problem. I do not know SCC but the images and descriptions all come out fine from a visual point of view. I like Irises, had some but the sun cooked them. They grow well in our Southern Highlands though, where it is cooler.
