You can open any folder on your desktop and in the location bar at the top just type "ftp://yourwebsite.com" (without the quotes) and hit "enter". It will ask you for your password, then you're in.
Then all you need to do is drag and drop your files on this open folder and they're uploaded! No ftp program needed.
With a right-click you can create folders and delete files too.
I've been using this method since Windows 98.
