Site with no links to it not being...
How do I get around this one? I made this site http://www.nannerch.com in VSD for our local community. Because it is a community website, there are some links out of it, but not into it, and google still hasn't picked it up. I'm getting complaints that local residents can't find it! I did go down the manual submission route to google, but it's still not coming up. How can I sort ths out?
Have they tried typing nannerch into the search bar?
It came up as the 7th entry (first page) in Firefox/Google
And 2nd place on first page in IE9/Bing
Haven't tried any others.

PS: As you can see on the screenshot in my previous post, Google's description is identical for all of your pages. The Google descriptions that you see originate from your <meta> description for each page.
You will take better advantage of the search engines if you tailor the <meta> description for each individual page. Also make sure you include a few key words from the actual page text to make the descriptions as relevant as possible!.

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
