When I create a web site or a form to go with it I save the site and form within the WWW folder of Wamp It could be in the Hdocs folder of Xamp also. Then to really test a site I use Localhost. This is especially useful as I often have a mixture of html and php files to test. That way you can have the page you are working on loaded in Localhost even with a form included etc and the actual file in the editor. This way you get a true representation of what the page will work like online.

With the editors ability to load other applications it is easy to start Wamp from the editor and activate Localhost. Sometimes you have to rename the index.html file to get to other pages.
