Here's a link to one that works for me in both Firefox and Internet Explorer:

http://discountedscripts.com/pagepeel-corner-peel-script-p-41.html?osCsid=c2b9d58e7a6aa576334a7c4d2a6f780f

It costs $5, but would be worth it if it fixed your problem.

Hi,

It didn't work on my FF 3.6.3. I had to turn off "Ad block plus" plugin for the page to see the peel away ad.

Hope this helps,
Kevin

Hi Kevin, yes that was it for Firefox ...turned off Ad Block plus and it worked! Now to sort out IE

Yes that one works for me too in both and the doc types are different so might investigate that first.

Thanks guys! Keep any ideas coming.

I have a suggestion for the IE problem.
Move this line in your page:
<script src="peel/peel.js" type="text/javascript"></script>

to after the <body> tag.
I got peel away to work in IE8 with my local test page.

Thanks Kevin, I'll try that, Actually the instructions that came with it were very confusing and said to:

"Add the following between the <head> and </head> just after the <body> tag in the HTML of your homepage:

<script src="peel/peel.js" type="text/javascript"></script>"

So I chose between the head tags with the other js instructions, but I'll try your suggestion.

Kevin that worked! Thank you! :D

Still wasn't what the instructions actually said ...but probably what they meant :/

Glad it worked for you.

I found this site with information on peel.js
http://www.marcofolio.net/webdesign/cre … bsite.html
It also had a link to test page that worked in IE. The test page source had the peel.js after the <body> tag.

The above site had a link to another free package that does this. Called pageear. It has a lot more options. (open sound, place peel away on left side of page, open target in new or self page.....)

I kept visiting that marco link and couldn't see the effect or the script in the box so gave up on that one but I can see it all if I switch ad blocker off.

I wonder what else I'm missing out on having ad blocker....
