I need help! I'm trying to get a gallery done using ColorBox. Something is wrong with the code somewhere. Also, tell me, because I know you all know how to do magic, how I get the image (I have only one right now for the test, but there will be many)....how do I get the image to link to the html so that it enlarges?
I tried attaching a pdf file and a word file, but neither are accepted. The txt file would have lost the images I'm trying to show.

Need a link to the site Ruby. I'm no coder but I know when they check in, they'll like to look at it.

Hi Ruby,
You need to give a link, like Gunsmoke said. Colorbox is in Jquery so I wouldn't think they would accept pdf or word file, it's just image gallery.

Click on the button that says Current. That's the one I'm working on, but a couple of the other buttons will also have galleries like this one if I can ever get this figure out.

I don't have time now, but have you tried lightbox, it's much easier system to use than colorbox and I think probably give the same type of affects as your trying to achieve.

I tried Visual Lightbox and had some problems with that.

What problems did you have with Visual Lightbox Ruby? I use it quite often, as well as Wow Slider which is a pretty good one too and so far have had very little issues with them. Maybe we can help work out what's wrong there?

Shouldn't really be getting any issues with lightbox Ruby as it's one of the oldest (of course relatively as anything with jquery) and well known of galleries.
On my site I use it http://nbdesigns.me.uk/web.html and also here http://mirandasbeads.50webs.com/gallery.html
They do fix bugs when they arise and I used to have problems sometimes when one clicked next and previous, which is quite annoying. With Colorbox I'm not really sure what the advantage would be, certainly not aesthetics as they work same type of principle but I'm sure we can get you up and running.
