Hi all,
I have a client that I've set up on Mailchimp's free service but they are admamant that they want a service running from the website itself. I think it's down to their concern that if the list gets too big then they'll be charged for the sending.
Anyone got any recommendations for free mailing list management software that will run from an Apache server?
Any integration with RED would be a bonus!
Thanks

If the list is larger than MC's free service, I don't think they'll have much luck with free email software. To handle that volume, they should consider spending a few bucks. If they insist on free, they should stay with MailChimp at least while they're under the limit.
From a 2013 review of emailing software:

Of course, the free versions lack the features one would want when handling a massive list.
Here's 2 examples of features/pricing from that list: http://group-mail.com/groupmail-email-n … mail-fees/
and : https://www.lmhsoft.com/purchase.html
These are one-time purchases rather than subscriptions, so that's good. You'll have to check to see if any of these (or others) allow you to import your own templates.

I love deadlines. I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by. (Douglas Adams)
