I have searched and can't seem to find what I want,

I wat the user to be prompted with a page which lets them select which of two sites the would like to visit when first visiting the website, both are hosted at the same address, though one will have a different subdomain, This desicion shoudl be kept for 5 mins.

The client is starting a run off to her current tour busines and it kind of needs its own site but it doesn't either,
I have seen pages like this before but can't find one as a demo,

The site is all in HTML some pages are in HTML 5 as the site is having its yearly tidy up. all this will be completed soon,
the site is
www.centralwinetours.co.nz the aletrail tours are going to be split off into there own sub

Your thought's

Cheers Benn

Put up an index page that is just a welcome page to direct to the main site home page or the sub domain url, depending on the selection. Why does it need to be a timed event?

Well I wanted to avoid using the Index to do this if possible, maybe it is the only way,

I will have a play and see how it turns out

I have successfully used an index.php file for a welcome splash screen and the index.html as the home page on a server. It depends how the server is set up, though. Try it and see if that works for you.

Why did you want to avoid using the index page? Hmmm.

Otherwise create any html page you want and set a redirect in place to redirect to the page title you want.
