My new site is done in PHP. I have no idea how to work with PHP as I have only worked with HTML. Can someone please help me with this, as I would like to edit the pages, but I don't know how, or even where to find the items that I would like to edit.

I know nothing of how to use cPanelX or any other cPanel. It confuses me to no end. Here is a Screen Shot of the cPanelX that I am supposed to work with when editing the site, but I don't know how to find what I need in it.

Like I said above, I am only knowledgeable in HTML, not PHP.

Please HELP

Thanks,

Kimberly Johnson

Never let anyone tell you that you can't do something. For if they do, it just means they couldn't do it themselves.

Rather than learn php, it might be easier and quicker to recode your site in html and css.

PHP is a Server Side (runs on the Web Hosting server rather than from your Browser i.e. Javascript) script that can enhance the capabilities of your site by making it more "Dynamic" (built on the fly) when used in conjunction with a database such as MySQL. HTML is strictly a Markup language where as PHP is more a Programming Language. That said, it can be learned but it may take you a bit of time to become proficient at it. I would start with a basic book from Barnes and Noble or Amazon on PHP as a read to determine whether you really want to tackle it. PHP truly does provide you a lot more capability than straight HTML and CSS, although they can all work together in the same Website.

You can view your PHP pages with your Coffee Cup HTML editor, but I would not make any changes to them without an understanding of the language.

If you look at the code you should be able to pick it up easily as most of it will most likely be html tags wrapped in php.
