I hope so! I have someone wanting to pull the trigger on getting their site/shop set-up and I have them all but sold on a package that I'd like to set-up using S-Drive/Stream. I don't want to deal with GoDaddy (or any of the other domain registrars) if I can help it.

They really like knowing that the company that produces the software used to create the site, will be the one maintaining the server so we know that changes won't be made that inadvertently break their site.

Sooner then soon but later then soonish. ;)

BUT can the price be competitive for uk users (like me) for .com domains i presently pay about £7.00 for .com and £3.00 for .co.uk

No idea what the prices will be when that goes live, but practically everything we do sell is at very comparative rate. ;)

Guess I've got some shopping around to do

My ISP in Norway offers domain name registration with www-forwarding and up to 20 email accounts (unlimited number of email addresses) for the price of $33 a year.

I think I have a Gmail account already, I'll check it out.
So the domain names just have to be renewed as usual with the original host, and the email addresses can be with a separate service?

Correct. Well not even with the host, just the registrar.

Paintbrush, it depends through whom you purchased the url, if it came with your hosting package which you are planning on shutting down, its worth transferring it into a registrar before closing down the hosting package.

Looks like google is a good option I did not know you could buy domains through them for $10

I didn't realize this either... Still would prefer to go through CC (especially since I've got plans to utilize S-Drive/Stream, both for myself and for some clients).

I'm trying to make the S-Drive decision and find that CoffeeCup help and advertising information is set above my head, leaving me with questions that I can't answer from the Website:

1. What is Dashboard?

2. If S-Drive does not have email capacity, it is unclear to me what might be the advantages of signing up for it.

Generally, I have found CoffeeCups support information is thorough and understandable, but now I am feeling baffled.
