Elements Loading One at a Time - Post...
Hello All,
I would like to know if there is a way to fix the website where when it loads on the internet it does not load one element at a time but rather like a template. It is very noticable on slower connections and does not make my site look very professional. The site is www.trophyhillplantation.com if you want to take a look. Hopefully there is a trick that I can do to make it work right.
Please help:)

The page loads items independently and there is not much you can do but limit the size of the files on the page. This is more noticeable on pages with large files and lots going on. There are page loading scripts that will not display the page until the entire page is downloaded, if you care to Google them.
Nice site.
Nice site.

CoffeeCup... Yeah, they are the best!
you could try optimising your images to make them load faster - i use photoshop for that...
Have fun

Yes i agree, if you try and make all component file sizes as small as feasible it will speed up load times.
Also your form overlaps your footer in FF. If you move it up a tad it will look better

I know you believe you understand what you think I said...but I am not sure you realize that what you heard is not exactly what I meant.

Same thing happens in Chrome.

Yes, these guys are all correct, the reason that your site loads so slowly is due to a lack of optimization. For your images make sure they are all the smallest possible size without losing quality. Start with .gif then move to .jpg, then to .png. .gif is the lightest, and .png is the heaviest. Make sure your markup has only what you need it to have with nothing extra. Same applies to your CSS.

You can also reduce the size of your images by using CSS for boxes and borders instead of incorporating that into the graphic.
