This is just a test page, can anyone tell me why the dropdown list is doing this? Why is it going up and down from it's starting point?
3 Points for the correct answer.

I guess you are using the CC flash menu maker. If you by 'going up and down' mean the submenus, that is how this programme was created. There is also some options, as far as I remember, for some wee 'animation'. I haven't used that app for a looong time.

The drop down list works fine for me. It only goes down when I click on the triangle.:)
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

Also works fine in Firefox 6.0.1 since it just updated as I was posting so I edited my post just now to add that it works for that version too lol.

Really, I'm using IE8 w/Win7. It goes to the very top of the screen past the toolbars and all and all the way down to the bottom. Hmm so browser problem. I did try placing its div within the nav section and be wise it was already at the top of the page then it just took a downward direction.
Sooo must be interpretatiing my divs wrong.
Ok thanks all.

I forgot to mention that I was viewing the menu with Fx6, and I saw nothing wrong.

Some years back when I was actually using the CC flash menu, I think we all had Windows xp and IE 7 or 8. I didn't see anything wrong at that time either. But it may have been before I started messing with CSS.
