Wow, that was fast. Just think about it, and it's gone!

Viv, a link would be cool :) Got to get rid of the old Drupal site so there won't be 2 sites for the same thing!

Viv, the names haven't been changed yet. We can't get the info from the former web developer to be able to do this. So the old website is still up and running, but we don't know where it's hosted at and we don't have the usernames or passwords for the registered domain names. :P

We can get this info from whois (I took the developer's name out):
Nameserver: NS1.*********.NET
Nameserver: NS2.*********.NET

Registry Status: clientTransferProhibited

FWIW, complaining to the BBB doesn't do any good unless the offending business is a member. Just sayin...

Didn't know that, sorry! :)

Judging by this guy's practices, I would say he's not a member.

Good luck with the other information you've been given paintbrush. :)

I guess old age and confusion but did you not say paintbrush that she had purchased the .net & others herself recently, if so could you add one of those to CC by changing cname records

It can be easily changed again at a later date when you get control of the .co etc

It would at least mean you have searches soon showing baby........net rather than baby.......coffeecup.com

I have a suspicion i am the only one who has an aversion to .coffeecup.com domain name showing permanently everywhere, so this is my reason

my chauffeur company i have put their website on s drive now, previously it was chauffeurd.............com (hosting company/registrar not giving it up easily)

after adding to s drive searches show chauffeurd.............coffeecup.com

From a client perspective having done a google search, i would rather hire a car from the former, not the latter.

So i added the .co.uk version to s drive and two weeks later chauffeurd.............co.uk is appearing below the .com and shortly the .com will cease to appear at all.

My registrar, has been set to claw back the .com as soon as the other hosting company let it drop

am i making any sense ?????>

Nothing against CC :D, but, yes – it would be better to continue under her already established dot com name.
I'm going to have a look at this Domainmonster service....

They have just announced this week they are entering the hosting market, with a starting price of £1.50 per month for hosting of 2 websites. will suit SCC & SCCP

Who has Viv, CC? I'm locked in with my current provider for a few months at least (would have to check), but would consider changing after this time if I can get mysite.com domain, and email service. :)

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
