Is there any free way to create a custom '404' page? I've had a look on Google and can't really see anything that makes sense. And the '404' page I get on my site is rather boring! Obviously I'd prefer never to see it, but i think it would be a nice addition.

Cheers

Hiya Simon,

I haven't played around with the Website Access Manager in quite a while (gonna have to do that soon as I reinstall all my stuff which I've been out of town too much lately to do lol), but I am pretty sure that program has the capability to allow you to create a handful of different error pages for your site. You can even purchase cool themes for them in the CC Theme store. Give the trial version a whirl and see if that's what you're looking for. Don't holler at me if I got it wrong though lol. :P

You sure can.

Here's mine.

I made it with CC HTML editor and the help of Inger.
I did have to put the CSS ref. in the same page instead of linking to a style sheet to make it work if someone looked for a directory that wasn't there.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

You're quite welcome, good luck on it and holler again if you need help with it. There are lots of users on the forums here that use that function and will most likely be able to assist you with it should you need it :)
