I use VSD and WFB. (Would prefer not to buy more than that just yet.)
I want to have a blog associated with my website. My hosting provider (ixWeb) has options to hook into Wordpress and some of the other blog environments (if that's the right word). I know I can insert a link from my web page to Wordpress, but I wanted it to look a bit more seamless. And I heard someone say something about a subdomain to drive search visibility. (As you can see I'm a newbie.)
- Do I need to use the connection in ixWeb and if so how do I hook that to my VSD web pages?
- Do I connect using VSD or does this require additional modules?
- Do I need to do both?
- And then, how do i make my blog (on Wordpress or wherever) look at least similar to my website

i.e. What's the process here?

If your going to use Wordpress it might be easier to make your VSD page look like the blog then to make the blog look like VSD page. Have you looked at Stream.
