Adding Downloadable Files in VSD -...
I have numerous .pdf, .doc, and .xls files that I have uploaded to my server and need to create links so my site visitors can download them. Problem is, I can't find any instructions in Visual Site Designer that seem to work. I added the files to the server using the Add Files... menu. Can anyone provide some guidance around creating a simple link that will allow a person to just download the files from the server? This is killing me!
Thanks!
Thanks!
You should be able to just insert the Text field you want to be linked, click the "Link" button and add to the URL http://www.mysite.com/nameoffile.pdf and so on for the different file types.

When you click the Link icon, you can choose Document and browse to your file

Yes that would matter... lol You can not access a file that is password protected. I suggest placing them in a non-protected directory.
