I am attempting to create a new Contact Form in Web Form Builder 2.4 with the excellent helping videos of both Steve Kolish at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BHQ5KG2eYLY and Gunsmoke7874 at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YWqGFd4IBZ4.

My problem is occurring during the completion stages of the Settings of the Email Notices for both Notification Message and Auto Response Message. According to the instruction that I am receiving the Notification Message Reply-To drop down slot when clicked should show me an [email] that I can select. The same procedure requirement is also listed in the Auto response Message To: that is, an [email] is supposed to be displayed after a click.

As shown in my email when the Reply-To Box is selected in the Notification Message of the Email Notices and in the Auto Response Message To: Box; I am receiving a blue box with no option listing neither the [email] button or anything else.

Any suggestions or solutions would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry I neglected to state the error message reads:
Please Check Email Settings.
To enable auto-response messages, you must select an email address in the To: field. This request cannot be accomplished, since I am unable to enter anything into these two blue fields.

I am sorry to be so wordy…still working on this fault…but please believe me when I say: Thank you for sharing both your time and experiences with me…

Steve...
I was re-watching your demo on the creation of the Contact Form...so your quick response caught me flat footed...I have no idea how to link you to my form since I am mid way in creating it.....I attempted to attach it to this request for help but could not make the size requirement. I did send a email to Coffeecup in hopes they will attach my print screen copy.

Give me a minute to search for a solution on my computer....Thank you

Steve:

I created two print screens of the errors.
I have placed the screen shot(s) in Web Image Studio.
The Width: 1920 and the Height: 1080.

I have attempted to zip the files but the compression is only 7% which does not meet Coffeecup requirement of a max 100k attachment file.

It seems that I have no other options, unless, if; I save the files with a Width and Height of 50k would you be to change the Width and Height back to the 1920 Width and 1080 Height?

I understand that this may not be a reasonable request, and, if that is the case then I will continue on other parts of my project and/or re-download Web Form Builder for as you said, the problem may be in another area of the program.

Thank you expressing your concern and demonstrating your willingness to seek a solution for me.

Steve:
Sorry for the delay…I am still trying to narrow the location for the requested link: I think it’s this first one;

http://adotinwonderment.coffeecup.com/f … ntactform/

but I am trying to verify with this link.

http://www.realitygdk.com/forms/reality … ntactform/

The problem is that it has to be among one of these three sites…

http://adotinwonderment.coffeecup.com/forms/
http://adotinwonderment.coffeecup.com/forms/
http://usandco.coffeecup.com/forms/

I will post back when my results are positive….again, thanks….

My problem is occurring during the completion stages of the Settings of the Email Notices for both Notification Message and Auto Response Message. According to the instruction that I am receiving the Notification Message Reply-To drop down slot when clicked should show me an [email] that I can select.

You must have an email block on your form before trying to set this option. Then check the Notification message box in your email settings as shown below. After that, you should get a drop down for the Reply To as shown below. Let me know if you are still having problems.

Gunsmoke:

Thank you for sharing your insight …. I now have a Positive Progress to Report:

Although my attempts to following your instruction did not get the newer Contact Form up and running named: realitywondermentcontactform.fb … your advice lead me to a previous Contact Form that I had created named: Reality_Contact.form.fb.

This discovered Form lead me to (1) the discovery that I have two forms with this same name which I will change in just a few minutes. And (2), my recalling that the form realitywondermentcontactform.fb was exported to what I think is called the Coffeecup Drive for FTP/HTML which for me was a very recent uploading on my part that I am 90% sure was not done correctly by me.

As usual in my case, this is most likely an operator error rather than either a software or hardware error.

Fortunately for me between you and Skolish, The CoffeeCup Team and Administrators I do have a working Contact Form that I can live with today and tomorrow.

I thank you and all that had a hand in finding me a Team effort solution that fits my competency level.
