Hi there, love the software, however the 8mb limitations holds it back somewhat, on my website users can submit photos for me to edit, when these photos are taken by a professional camera they can exceed 15mb. Is there a way to increase this limitation and why is the limitation in place?

Cheers

Hello Risey,

That limit is server based not WFB. Most servers only allow 8mb uploads.

If your server does allow more, then you do have the ability to change that. See http://www.coffeecup.com/help/articles/ … load-size/

You need to ask not only what the max upload size is but also the max post size. They are both important.

NOTE: Before making this adjustment, consult with your hosting provider on what the maximum post size and maximum file upload size is. NO GUESSING! ;)

Wow, Godaddy must be on the ball today... Only took them 7 hours to reply.

With GoDaddy, it's best to call, not email, for support. Email takes forever.

Did you know that Web Form Builder can be used for both simple and complicated forms and that it's not limited to the default fonts and buttons? Take a look at a form we developed for WindowTinting.com.

I have an unlimited shared host on GoDaddy and can upload files up to 2GB. Not sure if I can do that through WFB, but I can ftp files up to 2GB. Notice the filesizes below...

FTP and HTTP protocols are different in that regards. If you load the servertest.php script in your browser, it will tell you what the server is configured for.

The maximum upload value that you can specify for upload_max_size and post_max_size is 128MB. Check out this link on how to change the limitation: http://support.godaddy.com/help/article … ium=Social ^KayJay
