Web Form has stopped working - Post...

Last year I took over some sites at work.
All hosted on our own servers.

We have a web form that we use only for internal use.
It has worked fine up until about a month ago.

Folks fill out the form, the results are sent to one of our engineers.
Except now, the results are not arriving in their email.
When filling out the form, and submitting, it appears to the user as though it has sent correctly.

Any thoughts?

I'll post the URL below.
The page, and confirmation page come up fine.

Though I have purchased web form builder for a project I anticipate in the future, had never used it before.
I am 100% unfamiliar with Mail Chimp and the API.

Super frustrated.
Walked through the "How to" for Mail Chimp.
No luck upon attempt to create a new functioning form.
Still no emails going through. :(

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

The server test looks good.

I would check and see if some settings were altered on the server or try updating to the most recent version.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

Thanks for looking.

I know that nothing has changed (purposely anyway) with the server.

I will check on versions.

Hiya rfburnhertz,

I think Eric means that maybe your hosting company itself may have updated something or changed something on their end that you may not be aware of rather than that you had changed something yourself. :)

These servers are our own, physically located in our engineering department.

Though, changes could have been made that I am not aware of as I no longer am in the job position where I manage the servers.

One of our other engineers does.

I have inquired, haven't heard back.
He is in Alabama, I am in Colorado.

Normally, he tells our department of even the slightest of changes because out location is the IT heartbeat for the whole company.

But, that chance does exist.

One odd thing.
I changed the destination email address for form submissions last evening to my own so that I could monitor the results immediately.

However, before I did this, I did submit one test, and found out this morning that the submission was received.

Sadly, I cannot remember what change I had made for that single submission.

No other tests through the night worked.

PHP Sessions sometimes reads as "usable" and other times as "sessions don't appear to work on this server. FormBuilder won't work without them."

Confirmed nothing has changed on the server.

Further research reveals that perhaps Cent OS (which we use for the servers) has an issue concerning session_set_cookie_params() function and confusion caused it by the fact that we use a number of subdomains.

I'm not sure why that would be.
But, it is beginning to appear as a possible issue.

Eventually, this will be figured out and I will update.

You are using build 4164 we are on 5318! You are way behind, where have you been. :P

First, you need to make sure you uninstall the version you have now before installing the update.

Then download Web Form Builder from Your Purchases. Make sure you scroll down to the section Software You Own then click the "download" button next to Web Form Builder.

Then you will need to open your form re-export and upload it. Then run a few test to see if the E-Mail is coming through. :)

I am having the same issue with the form results not getting to the email address. I am using this software for 3 different forms. Both sites are hosted on the same hosting company. 2 forms get the results to the email address; 1 doesn't. This is a large catering company and we are desperate for answers.

There are a few things you can try that sometimes fixes things:

1. Go to Settings > Notification tab and change the From: Field to the name of your E-Mail element in the form. To find this name click on the E-Mail element in your form and click the properties tab. Take note of the Name element. This is what you need to enter into the From field. You want to place it in brackets like this [email1]. Your setup looks like this:

2. Check your SPAM folder. Sometimes emails can get trapped there.

3. Try using different email address under the Settings > Notification tab. Use Gmail, Yahoo, MSN etc.

4. Use S-Drive or find another hosting provider for just your forms.
