It's a good thing the forms can work in S-drive, because my host is a plain old html server account.

OK, I'm now a proud registered user of the latest Web Form Builder. Just gotta figure out over the weekend, how to tie this dandy new form I designed, into S-drive and get it all up and working.

Thanks people!

and now that you have the paid version you don't "have" to host it on S-Drive if you don't want to. It's nice though as it makes it easy to upload it etc. (didn't need the paid version for S-Drive usage though), but it's even more versatile that you can export the form to upload on your own server with the paid version. :)

Enjoy!

Thanks Jo Ann.

Do you mean that my ISP's server doesn't need anything but html? No PHP, no database, nothing else, and I can just upload the files there and it will work?

Because my ISP doesn't offer anything but html web space at the level I'm at, I'd have to go back to HostGator to have that.

Web Form Builder has been verified to work on the following hosting providers: GoDaddy, Yahoo, Tilted, A Small Orange, and Hostmonster.

Here's a breakdown of what you need:

PHP 5.2 or higher
cURL extensions
PHP sessions enabled

If you are not sure if your server has these items enabled, contact your hosting provider and they will be able to assist you. For Windows servers, you must use IIS/7.0.

If you want to test to see if your hosting provider has the correct PHP version installed here is what you can do...

You can use the code below to check which version of PHP is installed on your server. Open Notepad or Textedit and copy and paste this code into the document:

<?php
phpinfo();
?>

Saving Using Notepad:
Go to File > Save As and save the file as phpinfo.php. Make sure you change the Save As Type to All Files.

Now you will need to upload this file to your server using an FTP client. Once the file is on the server, go there with your browser, and all the PHP information about the server will be displayed.

I already know that Forethought.net only hosts plain html, not even PHP. That was why I had to have my site hosted at HostGator when it was redesigned about a year ago, and had it designed back to plain html this spring by a nice designer. :D

So does that mean that the files will have to host here at S-drive, to work right?

Wait, let me try what you suggested...

Oh wow, it did something! : http://lakewoodcolorado.net/test/phpinfo.php

You only have PHP 5.1, so it will not work. You need 5.2 (we even recommend 5.3) or higher.

Check it out! http://coloradoprocessservers.net/FORM.php

That theme even matched the main page, and I changed the email link on the main page, from red, to the orange in the form, so that matches too. AND guess what? It subliminally also matches Bronco colors, orange white and blue. :lol:

I don't think the form will work though as you need to be on a higher PHP version. When you click submit, you just get a blank white page. That is caused by being on PHP 5.1. I would ask your hosting provider and see if they can upgrade ya.

The blue looks good. ;)
