I will have to check into the Firefox 3, but that maybe too old of a browser. I will look into that tomorrow. As to Chrome, I see the file upload just fine here in OSX and Windows. Did you clear your cache?

Hi,

One more thing: I've had quite a few sites hacked through forms. Are you using htmlentities in your code? Thanks!

The file upload is there in Chrome, but it is not a field, just a button, and the chosen file appears next to it. It's the same in Safari.

In Opera the date picker is smaller (the actual calendar), and the chosen date is right aligned, while in the other browsers (IE, Ffx, Safari and Chrome, all latest versions) it is left aligned. I guess that also has to do with how browsers render the various elements.

The number can be selected in Opera, Safari and Chrome, the difference is, thet pressing the down arrow (once) in Opera produces 99999, whereas in the two other browsers you have a 0. And also the number is right aligned in Opera.

Sorry, I didn't explain myself brilliantly. In Chrome, all that is visible is a button which says 'Choose File'. In the other browsers, the 'Field' is fully visible (by field, I mean the area that txt etc is usually placed). Also, In IE and Firefox, they say Browse File but in Chrome it says Choose File.

The word "Browse File" and "Choose File" is actually controlled by the browser. Each browser renders HTML forms differently. We decided to always use the default browser look/feel instead of trying to hack over it.

So am I correct in the fact that right now while the web form builder is in beta we cannot use any more than one form (unless we pay a monthly fee to upgrade our S drive account from the free account)?

If you are on the FREE plan, then yes you can only publish one form. If you upgrade to the Webbie Plan you can have 3 and the Shopkeeper you can have 10.

Firefox 3 came out in 2008 Mark. You missed the 4, 5, 6 and 7 updates. ;)

Yes, that is all correct Inger. We will be tweaking the formatting still a bit to try and get it as close as possible in all browsers, but as we all know, HTML renderes quite different in each. :(
