Sorry. Just seen it's a 'lite version' that works with something called S Drive. I don't have that. Can the new form builder be used independently?

Please read the first message in this post . Everything you need to know about this release is described in there. ;)

Another - Using the blank Theme, if you use a Dashed Line, it is bigget than the width of the form itself. In the other themes, it is central and smaller.

Will we have the ability to change the date format from 12/25/2011 to 25/12/2011?
How do you implement the Password in the Password Field?

I know this is a Lite version, so I hope my comments are not hacking you off.

I think you're on to something and while I've not had a chance to look at the code yet, I do have a few requests based on what I've been playing with:

1. as requested above, I would like the ability to move the fields around the page and maybe put some side by side, this is not only a space issue, but a practical issue. People don't like to scroll and the more I can add in their face the more likely they will fill it out completely.
2. I would like to see dynamic tips appear for some of the selections so I don't have to look up the properties of each type of field
3. I would like more info on what the keys for captcha are -- not for s-drive
4. I would like better field validation: zip codes, emai format, phone numbers, etc. I would like the verification be for both required and format.
5. I'm assuming we can hook the data collection to a mySQL db at some point?
6. I want to add forms to templated pages, how will that work?
7. I'd like to create my own themes, will that be possible?
8. I've had other form projects that left so much div & css code that it was ridiculous so the cleaner the code the better for me

Thanks!

I know tha there will be the ability to Tweak the Themes in the final version. However, will CC be putting together some themes for sale as with other CC products?

BTW - The programme runs pretty smooth on my machine, but the install did seem to take a bit of time.

Looks fantastic. Just wanted to clarify one thing. With the full version will I be able to do the same as the flash version and have the PHP and other files generated automatically and saved to my local pc I can then ftp them so that my server posts the message?

You have that ability now Mark. Add a "Date Field" then click on the "Properties Tab". Under the "Date Format" change it to whatever you like.

As to the "Password" option, that is just what we call a "Magical Field" that masks all text that is inputted into that box.

Yes, we do have plans to sell even more themes and you will of course have the ability to customize any theme as well by editing the CSS and HTML files.

The install could take longer on some systems if the .NET libraries are not installed. Once those are installed, all future updates should be very fast.

OK - Just a few quick comments.

I like the feel and design of the programme. It feels that this is the way the programme should have been designed. I like that.

Several things though.

Check form here http://searson.coffeecup.com/forms/test%20new%20form/

You will notice that the spacing is an issue. Will we have the ability to move elements around etc. Look at the 'Dashed Line' I have used. I can not get it closer to the 'Name' field. Also, I can adjust the height and length of the 'Comments' field, but am unable to change the width of either the 'Email' or 'Name' field. This could make the whole form start to look rather big.

Nudge feature would be nice. Will that be part of the final programme?

If I have jumped in here without fully exploring, my apologise.

Mark

Having a space in a file name is valid, but we encode all characters so all spaces get converted to a %20. We did not want to put any restrictions on file names, so we leave that up to you.

We do have plans to include all the other items you mentioned here. We wanted to just start with the basics so we could get it live and then gather user feedback on what items they want to see included the most.
