Ok I see what you mean BUT the files have already been exported prior to the above dialog box appearing. I don't see how this prevents the creation of the sub directory.

Forget everything you know and just follow the process and it will work. ;)

Yo Dudes!

I imagine bladerider and me are not the only ones to have struggled with this, but I've cracked it with your help!

Young Scott (it's all relative, isn't it?) must have been tearing his hair out, wondering why we were going wrong, but we all get a mental block sometimes, so forgive us!

TWO MAJOR POINTS before you go any further (and thanks, Scott, for pointing these out) -
1. Make sure you're using the latest version of PHP;
2. Make sure you've downloaded the latest version of Web Form Builder (in my case, 3008)

I wanted to incorporate a Coffee Cup Form into an existing web page, rather than just use a Web Form on its own page. This is how I did it -

I do hope that's helped someone out there!

Scott - i havn't tried this yet but cant I just use the add files in VSD to do the same thing. Similar to the way it was done in the Classic version?

It would be virtually impossible. The directory structure is just too complex to do it with the Add Files. The best way is to follow these instructions:

Version 3026 rocks!

Boy, it's so much easier now - thanks guys and gals.

CoffeeCup's development philosophy is quite interesting - constant upgrades which each time deliver a significant advance. Could you imagine Microsoft developing in this way? Oh dear, no, just think - Vista version 2.1, Vista version 2.2, Vista 2.3 ... suicide rates would hit the roof 'cos we'd get a delivery of brand new bugs regularly!

You folks are definitely doing something right - keep up the good work.

Hi guys,
I've just watched Pete's screencast and now understand perfectly what I was doing wrong. Thanks Phil - brilliant tutorial as I also use Dreamweaver.
I've put the lesson to work and the form works brilliantly.
Thanks for the help everyone.
Paul.

Hi bladerider,

I'm glad it was of use to someone.

It would be great to do one or two more screencasts on CoffeeCup software, but it's hard to keep up with the developers as they are constantly improving the packages and releasing new versions!

I must admit that I am using my renewed interest in CC as an excuse to practise producing screen capture videos as that's my plan for 2012 - online training for whatever I can think of!

You should try version 3026 though when you next have a need for a form.
