Hello all,

I have a couple of forms that were working a while back and now stop sending. I get the following error message;

Warning: [ err 2/line 248C:\inetpub\metal-stock.com\site\quotearea\MetalStockQuote1\fbapp\php\mailer.cls.php] mail(): Failed to connect to mailserver at "localhost" port 25, verify your "SMTP" and "smtp_port" setting in php.ini or use ini_set()
Failed to send an email to "tracy@metal-stock.com".

I could not locate the php.ini file to even look to see if I could figure it out.

Thanks

T

Does that email address actually exist?
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

Unfortunately your server does not meet the minimum server requirements to use this software. Please see http://www.coffeecup.com/help/articles/ … m-builder/ for the full requirements.

Also, since you are on a Windows IIS server, you will also need to manually customize your SMTP settings. You can find instructions here at http://www.coffeecup.com/help/articles/ … m-builder/

You may find using S-Drive is far easier. ;)

Thanks Scott, which part of the requirements does the server not meet? it's running PHP 5.4 , PHP sessions and cURL are enabled.

I realize that S-drive would be easier, but for this client I can't use that option. I am personally not able to afford the extra expense.

Thanks

This error is specific to Windows hosting when not having SMTP configured per the instructions I posted in my last message.

Hi Guys,
Can someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong. I'm doing an online rental application for a client and I'm testing the form but this is the error message I'm getting.

Warning: [ err 2/line 391/config.cls.php] session_start(): open(/var/php_sessions/sess_bb22ef431f721636f26dfcb820e80573, O_RDWR) failed: No such file or directory (2)

I don't know what it means or what I'm doing wrong. The form is located at the link below and it doesn't require every field to be filled in. Just put random information in the field to submit it and you'll see what I mean. Guys Help!

Hi Scott thanks for your help,

I spoke to the hosting company and they enables the PHP session on the server, now I'm getting an error message saying.

Your form could not be submitted for the following reason(s):
Could not send an email because the recipient isn't defined

I went back to the form in form builder and check the sent to section and it has an email address. Am I missing something here.

Ok, I figured it out, I had to put an email address in the form.

Guys,

Can the form builder upload more than one attachment, I need my form to upload about 3.

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
