Is there something I missed in setting up the form that would enable the recipient to be able to hit "reply" when receiving a form and it goes back to the person submitting? Right now, they have to copy and paste the email of the form sender to reply to them.

There is a setting for that. Go to Settings > Email Notices and in the FROM box, enter [email] (or whatever your email address element name is). This will place their email address there and allow you to directly reply back to them.

If you leave it blank, the email comes from the server address. If you enter any email address in there, it will come from that.

Not sure if this is right but I added that to the 'from' field and the attached shows not only what I have in the recipient fields but also what I added to the 'from' field and the resulting error. I cant' get past that.

Cindy,

Double click your E-Mail Element in WFB. Under the properties tab you will see a Name: Element. The text in that field is what you will need to insert into the From:

In the screenshot attached you will see that my E-Mail element is named email1 so in the from I would use [email1] (make sure you use the brackets.)

:)

hmmm..that's exactly what I did... my email element name is 'email' so I put [email] in the FROM field under settings --> email notifications. and I get the error saying it's not valid format.

It should, I think, never be just [email]. I think you are looking at the 'Label' and not at the 'Name' field. Might just double check again. Each element is numbered in the order that it is added to the form. It should have a number after it.

Use drop down list below it to select the email address element. That is what you need to enter. If none appears, that means you used a Text Field for the email address on your form.

Hey Scott, am I looking at it wrong? I get a 'drop down' under 'Reply To' but not under 'From'.

So, she needs to enter that email element in the 'Reply To' and not in the 'From' as you said before?
