Are you writing to a csv or MYSQl on the form that doesn't work?

No, really just a simple form, it only sends the request to one address, no data being saved, then a redirect on the submit ... just like the contact form. Actually the contact form could be consider a bit more complicated because it is set up with the contact list.

Here is the form in question ... the first one listed does not work properly (no redirect and no auto response ... it does however send the email notice to the right recipient ... that's it.).

The second one works great, it is merely sitting on a different server, and yes I did change the redirect for each appropriate domain.

Your a welcome to try them, someone will catch the test email.

Thanks

Here are the 2 Server Tests. For the one not working, it could be related to the Sendmail path not being configured and the SMTP server not set to localhost.

Thanks for pointing this out Scott ... do you think this could be the problem, even though I have the other form that works well on the same server in question?

Also I noticed that the metal-stock.com server test showed the SMTP is set to SMTP:208.76.222.182 which is their static IP address. I am afraid to have it changed to "localhost" in fear of screwing up their email system . . I am not well versed on email setup.

Thanks

Hard to really say. Just looking at the server test, those items really should be addressed to know for sure.

To update you guys on the form issue; I am still working on it and still trying to get the server guy to change the SMTP settings Scott pointed out. In the mean time, I am going to redesign the whole form and see what happens (I can't wait for the multi-page option).The only reason for the redesign would be that one form works very well on the server in question, so I am thinking that the other should work also ... unless it was somehow corrupted. I did look at the code on both forms and as far as I could tell, everything was OK. I could of easily missed something though, since I have very limited knowledge of PHP.

Thanks for all the help, I will let you know what finally fixed the issue.

A quick question;
If Sendmail is set this way ... Sendmail From SMTP:208.76.222.182 SMTP Port:25.
Do I have to set up the form the use that set up?

It seems that the server the web site resides on is also tied to another server that handles email being fetched with outlook.

Thanks.

Does anyone here know how to work with the form's "user.cfg.php" file so it will jive with certain server settings?
