I have a simple test form with a couple fields, with the "Saving Data" set to mysql. I exported it and loaded it to my server, and it worked great! I was worried about how to create the fields in the database- but it did that automatically. Very slick.
That's the good news. The bad news is as soon as I turn on a Payment option by Paypal- setting a price of $1 for each submit, the form breaks, and all I see is:
SQLSTATE[HY000] [2013] Lost connection to MySQL server at 'reading initial communication packet', system error: 111
The odd thing is it still puts the correct data from the form into the database.??? It seems like it tries to contact the database again before switching to Paypal- and fails.
Can't go any further with payments until I get this fixed...
thanks for any suggestions
Payment option breaks database write?...
I would submit a ticket to support on this one.
